Love doth lift us up out of the darkness;
As realms of obscurity seek their own
Love’s open harmony heals apartness,
Till roots do run deep and leaved-trees are grown.
Love tis the light in the shadowy night;
Moving across the azure sky in waves,
Commanding the stars to proudly unite,
Turning darkness to crystal clear enclaves.
Love liberates and sets the spirit free,
And in that freedom new life empowers;
Where inner strength leads onward unto thee,
Standing at thy side through the darkest hours.
Tenderness of heart, darkness overpowers,
And in the end, we are love, love towers.
