EJA

EJA

Sonnet XCIX

O, magic maiden mine fortune do tell;

Enchanted tis thine mystical regard;

For I’ve seen thee in dreams, and know thee well,

As thou doth float in step with the vanguard.

Eyes divine all-knowing of the ages,

In thine gaze all male pulchritude tis lost,

And when thine word tis stricken from pages,

The search for meaning, weary hours exhaust.

Whilst, thee like a goddess do press, me drink,

Such potions of love and fresh fantasy,

Thine beauty yields me to the very brink,

Where thine allure tis charmed efficacy.

That breath of mine being find Intimacy,

And drink thine tonic, what delicacy?
