Oh, ageless account, thine silhouette glows
Strikingly serene, thy form trimmed by grace;
Born of the gods such exquisiteness grows,
Thy light bewitching the whole human race.
Shine, fairest-one dear, devour the darkness;
For where thou art, shadow and din fade
Spurn the tillage of such starkness,
And expose the auspicious masquerade.
Sing the hero’s ode, thy lineage fulfill,
Proclaim cherished vigor within thy veins
This heart ever strong stands against all ill
That virtue’s stillness lives when beauty reigns,
And goodness claims true joy that cynic feigns,
Carrying mine soul to thee where love remains.
