EJA

EJA

Sonnet CLXXXVI

Blissful aquamarine Eden of heart,
Where Sun doth frolic in a dance of light,
Upon thy shore brimming till swells depart,
And surge thee with commanding waves of might.

Oh! Mine own darkness confronted by fear
Hath trust revealed, wherein I am fulfilled,
For thou art sublime; drying every tear;
With timeless beauty thy love hath instilled,

And grains of sand between mine toes too;
Art soothing there when waves of pain break-in,
Released of that which myself held true,
Heavenly vista, frees me of mine sin.
With all this love, let life in thee begin,
Let horizons brightest beauty shine within.
