That one ought wed one’s dearest gentle friend,
Tis truth simply held in heart easily won,
Where melancholy fool ne’er thine heart bend,
As night befriends the soul eclipsing sun.
And radiance mislaid tis fauna’s rebuke,
Ne’er blooming thus as cloudy mind o’er takes,
For ambition tis wanton jaded fluke,
And flora stayed till prodding Spring outbreaks.
On such day, with case of heart on display
Laughter’s presence azured firmament bear
And woo that conqu’ring spirit come what may;
Then neigh weep no more that within mine care,
Thine mantle aglow in rapt’rous repair,
Redeeming depths of sweet emotion rare.
