O ponder, this upon the colored wind
For unbroken truths art beauty defined,
Where cast and hue upon my love grinned,
So dear thou art, the unforgotten kind.
Make bright the darkness, shine as distant stars;
Words unspoken in language infinite;
Regal diadems, enchantment of tsars;
Bend ears of saints in heavens intimate.
For no need of acclaim, wilt thou be known;
Fault, nor silence tis born of awkward minds;
Making much of life; a gilded throne,
Glories whisper a multitude that binds.
Then dispersed among heroic jests finds
Where jewels do shine in a heart that reminds.
