The Greatest

A REFLECTION:

Some measure success by the attainment of material wealth or job title. I much prefer to measure it by the capacity one has learned to give and accept love in this lifetime. Within that life true happiness is attained. We all battle frustration, weakness, poor choices, cowardice, disappointment, and overwhelming fear, especially during this time of Covid 19. Many are wondering, will we make it through? We need a soul to save us!

That saving grace is found in the bravery of compassion. Heeding one’s deepest truth is not always easy. Fear seeks to devour. Pride and the overpowering pressure to conform or fit can weaken our resolve to do and be better. Yet, in spite of all the odds, we find the strength and power. We transform from within, by our choices and the love that pours forth from our purest heart, that which cannot and will not house fear. Ultimately, we are saved by the power of Love.

In this place of fearlessness, veiled truths give way to light. Light gives way to healing. The brightness consumes our brokenness, and it cannot take us down. People cannot take you down. Empathy radiates as the fuel to our fire. Passion rises up from the ashes of past mistakes. The failure you once took out a mortgage on is paid in full. We are filled with the abundance of life and hope. Greatness will follow in the form of selflessness, empathy, goodness, knowledge, and fearlessness.

So we measure success the right way, by what is truly important to us and based on being informed, knowledgeable, and fearless. How we spend our time, mental energy, and effort does matter. Claiming your birthright of truth, you will no longer measure success in terms of what’s truly important to others. The fearful place where you once resided is demolished. The child is safe to explore and become. The greatest is yet to come. You are the GREATEST!
