No more be fear’d that forgiv’ness tis lost,
For pardon doth hold heart’s window ajar
Within such response spare all burden cost,
Where kindness be known in smile from afar
All that guilt doth seek, joy doth remember;
And excusing doubt tis author of thy trespass
What sweet urge this cloud eclipsing ember
To take thy word and all hereto surpass
Loathsome be all that bear cankered hate true,
For corrupting tis boldly worn in heart
And purity’s plea surely robs the view,
That seeks the soul to avenge its part
So trespass not as sweet revenge depart;
Let neighbor bear not malice from the start.
