EJA

EJA

Sonnet XL

How can the heavy laden find reprieve,

When all o’er this life tis thick with sorrow

A beauty not of this world lights the eve;

Bright stars light the dark till it be morrow

What is a name that doth rise with the Sun,

Where the dawn’s maiden, as a lark, doth sing

Gone away the ache of mourning’s burden

Redeeming souls, unloading everything

Do you know the lady with crown of stars,

Filled with holy grace of universe wide

Hope springs from thy heart by faith, healing scars;

Protecting heights and guiding ocean tide

Blessed art thou who all our tears hath cried

In peril and in death our tears hath dried.
